Nope, I just needed a few stitches. I have a small scar above my eye, but it's really small and barely noticeable. But I never lost consciousness or anything-- I just don't remember getting hit or some small span of time leading up to it.

That is crazy. Glad you didn't get too roughed up, I've seen people get hit in the face with a bat before, and it usually doesn't end up pretty.

That kind of reminds me of when I broke my nose for the first time. I was playing catch with my father, he threw a pop up and said "keep your eye on the ball", which I did, to a T. *CRUNCH* I don't remember it hitting me, I just remember losing the ball in the sunlight, then looking down to a puddle of blood.

almost this exact same scenario happened to me when i was younger, only it was a golf club. i was just standing too close. i remember standing there then the next minute i remember holding my head slowly walking towards my garage and my dad running toward me with this super scared look on his face. i guess he saw my skull.
