I've been wanting to do that for a while, actually. I have a plan figured out; one of my friends works at a game store, and I'll set up a tough scenario like in the game [like his boss tells him he has to find specific games for a very impatient mob of customers], and then he starts stressing out, until finally... "O... O... OUUEENNDAANN!" As soon as he finishes yelling, a hidden person in the store turns on a stereo for the song, me and 2 friends pop up from behind a game rack, in uniform, and shout "OSU!", then get out and start dancing. It would be awesome.General_Norris wrote:I love Ouendan so much that I cosplayed about them!

It is awesome, and you will get so many fangirls your head will explode. Seriously, if we didn't get like 400 photographs made we got none.lisalover1 wrote:I've been wanting to do that for a while, actually. I recommend you to follow the patter used in the game, it's easier than it looks and will look a lot better than making the choreography yourself. Unfortunatedly I don't have any videos of our performance.
We used the song Taisetsuna mono and used steps from other songs/other parts so as to fill the blank spaces. Looked awesome and very profesionally made.
I think your idea is really cool. Record it please!

You guys are obviously even more fans of it than I am
Norris, is there a video of your act somewhere (unless you cosplayed the girl squad of Insane difficulty, in which case probably I want to pass on viewing it...
) ?
Ivo.

^No that I know of. Well, there's a video where we appear for a while but I will have trouble seeking it and while they recorded us our appearance only lasts a few seconds. Our cosplay was not specially great though my friend looked exactly like Tanaka (Easy difficulty), in fact everyone now everyone knows him by that name (And because he is the worst Jungle Speed player ever). It was our first cosplay and boy, were we surprised about the reaction! Specially since it was our first appeareance in the Otaku/Gamer scene.
BTW. the tip to get a nice Ouendan chroeography is punching hard and fast. Most people who try seem robotic because they move slowly and Ouendan is all about ENERGY! If you move, move as fast as you can, don't slow the movement down. It takes little effort and looks great.
