#40 is classic. All of the voice acting in Shining Force III is god awful. You can hear more gems here:

#18 takes it for me, hands down. I BUSTED out laughing at that one.
Re: 50 worst moments in videogame voice acting
Hm, what about the first Resident Evil...?
EDIT: Nevermind, it's in the video.
Still, it was HORRIBLE!

Audio = AAAUUUU AUUUU
Subtitle = KEEE KEEEEE
The voice overs in this game sound particularly awful. Out of curiosity, is this game any good/fun? And what the hell is the wrong with Yuri/Uru? I don't remember him being so prissy or effeminate in Shadow Hearts. What's up with his voice for the game?

Everyone always forgets about the English versions of Brave Fencer Musashi/Samurai Legend Musashi. I had to mute the TV throughout the whole game.

From what I heard, the game is actually pretty good. The dub kinda turned me off fast, though. I really wanted to get it for no other reason that being a fan of Growlanser, Gun Grave and Shadow Hearts.(-_-) wrote: AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Also, from wikipedia:
Fucking penny pinchers. It's not like professional voice actors even cost that much - they practically work for peanuts.In North America, the game was released on June 3, 2008 as a GameStop exclusive. The game was heavily criticized for its poor English dubbing, due to O3's CEO Chris Jelinek getting family members to do the voiceovers instead of hiring professional voice actors.

Re: 50 worst moments in videogame voice acting
it's bad quality but you can just about make out this one clip from shenmue that always cracks me up.
WHAT wur you DO-ing
It sounds like they've taken the words that make up Ryo's sentence from other parts of the game dialogue and just mashed them together because Corey Marshall had already gone home that day or something

His family did the voiceovers? That is very weird and I'm embarrassed for him for that decision. I didn't know Gungrave was in it too. Now I want to play it... Was there an option for the japanese audio?the7k wrote:From what I heard, the game is actually pretty good. The dub kinda turned me off fast, though.
