I realize this was a poorly thought out comment. I have been blinded by the recent releases. From the exclusives I have played I can confidently attest to the quality of
Metal Gear Solid 4
Heavenly Sword
Valkyria Chronicles
Folklore
Uncharted 1 + 2
Little Big Planet
Warhawk
Killzone 2
Resistance 2
Demon's Souls
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 + 2
I rarely play pain. I boot it up to show people because it's amusing, but it doesn't feel much like a game as it does a toy. I don't know if I'd suggest it to everyone, but Noby Noby Boy is probably the most enjoyable time wasting title on psn.
I have a PS3 now, game suggestions?

Re: I have a PS3 now, game suggestions?
I have MGS4, I actually just beat it a few minutes ago (or technically, about a hour ago as everyone knows what I'm talking about) and I was very happy with it, I started with the first solid ten years ago, Didn't have the privilege to play the first two, but I was very happy with the ending.
Also, Thanks for all of the ideas, however I am a shoot em' up junkie, I looked through PSN and I remember finding about two or so, I could be wrong.
Any preferences for those?
Also, what is Everyday Shooter like? I love all genre's of games, so that isn't a problem, I just haven't heard a whole lot about it.

Everyday Shooter controls like Geometry Wars. However, each stage has its own unique gameplay mechanic. It's great fun.
Other than that, there's also Soldner X (a bit too difficult for my tastes, but I still found it fun enough) and Astro Tripper, which I haven't had a chance to play. For non-PS3 exclusives, there's Heavy Weapon (which I enjoyed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8xlYEPcFpk) and Star Trek D-A-C (Haven't played, but it looks like "Asteroids Deathmatch" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UbDhqufjA0)
Oh yeah, I forgot Super Stardust HD. There's a demo - I kinda forgot how it plays, but you can give it a shot.

Re: I have a PS3 now, game suggestions?
Iforgot about Super Stardust. That was the first psn title I got. It's one game you completely zone out with. You have to focus to avoid clipping asteroids and getting killed as being touched by anything kills you. You have three different weapon types that fire bursts, spreads, and a stream. Each one destroys specific types of rocks most efficiently. You have to keep blowing up asteroids to refrain from getting hit while taking out enemies. It gets pretty crazy when you've blown up the larger asteroids into more and more pieces. The field is the surface of different planets and you can roam anywhere across it in every direction. I'm not sure if you need the expansion for it, but the survival and endless modes are the most fun.

I actually liked Lair.the7k wrote:(-_-) wrote:All of the exclusives are fantastic games. Demon's Souls is probably my favourite game right now.
Well, I wouldn't go that far. Lair is a PS3 exclusive, and I'd suggest you avoid that title...

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Lair is a PS3 exclusive, and I'd suggest you avoid that title. PAIN is also a title that I'd recommend you be cautious about... it's fun, but only in small doses.
Still, the PS3 does have a large library of exclusives, and most of them are Grade A material.
I'm with Breetai, I loved Lair as well. It has a patch now solving a lot of the control issues. I also liked Folklore as well, its a very different RPG style game and has a great art style. Heavenly Sword was pretty good as well.
