Bustaballs, next time just link to the post and don't copy the whole thing into a forum message. That's kinda bad form and makes it hard to read through the forum posts. If people want to read the original they'll click the link.

Also, here's some more info on Conduit at ArsTechnica. They link to a couple videos and they are darned attractive.

I suspect a lot of the complaints about the Wii's graphical capabilities are from people who aren't spending enough time with the hardware. Yeah, on a port the Wii's capabilities will be somewhat limiting, but if you are designing the game for Wii it's much easier to get around the limitations. And I suspect the Wii has more than enough horsepower on tap to make quite impressive looking games with the right design philosophy. The devs of Conduit appear to have figured that out, because what they have is tres pretty.

This bugs me. It seems time and time again you hear people whine about this. Yet it's painfully evident graphics don't make the game. If they did, Nintendo wouldn't have the highest selling console nor handheld on the market.

I wonder when the "average gamer" will give a toss about gameplay again?

Thanks for the post on the upcoming titles. Glad to have a Wii now, only next gen console I have and looking forward to monster hunter 3, just need to finish playing 2 on the psp. Will have to maybe quit working to play 3, seriously stay away from the monster hunter addiction.

Yes it does, if you plan on buying the import. If you are running homebrew channel you are just one step away from running backups and they can be region patched, that's the way I play tatsunoko.
