I'm looking into buying a TV for my room. The only TV we have in the house is the big flat screen the living room. Its really nice, but everyone in the house is always hogging it. It also has a little bit of game lag, which makes certain games frustrating. So to solve the problem, I figured I'd get my own damn TV.
I'm looking for an affordable CRT TV somewhere around 22' with very little (preferably none) game lag. The visual quality should be just enough to play older video games without my eyes exploding. Any suggestions?
Looking for a good, smallish, gaming TV.

You might want to post this in the b/s/t thread, you never know, you might get lucky.

check craiglist, sometimes people are just giving their old CRT's away because they got a new HDTV. I got a 27" for like 20 bucks not too long ago and I've seen first come it's free for some 19"

CRTs are analog, so there should never be any lag. I'd second the craigslist, or find a thrift store around. It'll be cheaper than anything online if you factor in shipping. I like Sony Trinitrons a lot, great clarity, and they usually have a good assortment of connectors. The flat screens usually have some minor geometry issues, but that doesn't bother me much.

I deliver pizza for a living and right before the switch to digital I would see 10 a shift while driving around. I found several with remotes. But I don't think you will find that. Check C-list and if desperate try the pawn shops.

Definitely try Craigslist. I got a free 20'' RCA off there one time

Not that they were a great deal by any means, but there's a Blockbuster going out of business near me and everything was for sale, including the in store TVs. Just another option in case there's any BB downsizing going on near you, but yeah, if you're in or near a largish city, CL or watch near dumpsters for people dumping off TVs without a digital tuner.

I would definitely check Craigslist and local thrift shops. As mentioned above, most place sell them for almost nothing or give them away for free.
