Put me down for someone who also hates theaters. I would also be willing to pay a little extra to avoid the crap caused by other audience members.

My favorite are the people in the first could of rows who have to sit really low in their seats to look at the screen. Then, they get a text, and decide to read it. And what's the best way to do that? Hold the bright, shiny screen up high in the air so they don't have to look away from the screen, of course.

I live in Atlanta, and there are really only a couple of theaters around here I'll even set foot in.

My theater is literally a stones throw away from my apt, and on Tuesday's popcorn and soda are a buck each, so I see a lot of movies. Tuesday night is the way to go.

Yeah, games like this never have very good sustained sales. It had a huge release, but it'll probably be in the shitter within a couple weeks.

In my head I'm envisioning just how many of these units are gonna show up in GameStop used. With a short single-player campaign, anyone that isn't dedicated to online play is gonna be bringing it back in the not-too-distant future.

With the price that CEX is willing to give for in store credit (£36) I can see a hell of a lot of people trading in the copies they managed to get from the supermarkets for £30 as soon as they complete it.

Unfortunately it means that the price, just like the original, is going to stay high for a long time.

You couldn't pay me to get this game on a console though, and since the PC version is so crippled not to mention that it's 5 hours long for christ sake (I just completed the PC version in one sitting) I'm so glad I didn't pay anything for it. It's just not worth anything in it's current state, it looks like shit on anything other than PC and the PC version is utter bollocks.

This is the first I've ever heard of the game.

IMO, as market penetration goes, NSync, Harry Potter, The Dark Knight, AND GTA IV beat out Modern Warfare hands down in market penetration based on the fact all 4 of those previousily named products are well known house hold brand names.

My mum doesn't know what the hell Modern Warfare is as a game title (or call of duty at that). But she sure as hell knows the rest of those names.

My buddy Andy just (5 minutes ago) bought COD MW2 based on the hype alone. That said, he also just bought Rock Band Stage Kit (light and fog machine) and some new rock band that is a bunch of pop tunes.
