Hi there,

I'm MattG, one of the Editors at the Advanced Media Network and the guy behind the Press The Buttons gaming blog. I've been lurking here for ages, but just never got around to registering until recently for some reason. I've been a Nintendo fan nearly all of my life, but over the past year I've dipped into the Sony world, picking up a PS2 and a PSP. Them's the basics; see ya around the forum and beyond.

Hello,

I'm the GagaMan(n), a gaming nut who started his gaming life on the NES but was mainly raised on the Amiga and Sega systems, who plays a whole lot more retro games than modern ones (I do own a Wii, though). My all time favorite system is the Dreamcast for which I have a big lump of games for and I write for the blog The Dreamcast Junkyard. I'm also a big fan of the Amiga, Neo Geo Pocket and Sega's other systems.

My favorite kinds of games are of the arcade kind, as I don't really have the time or patience for big epic games like RPGs. I'd rather play games I can whiz through in a short time and are not over complicated. My favorite series are Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Fighter, Bomberman, Puyo Puyo and Metal Slug.

I'm also a budding animator. Whoo.

Hello,

I found this site while looking for help with fixing my Saturn and spent a good amount of time reading the articles on the front page, all of which were outstanding. As for my Saturn, after many years of sitting in a box I pulled it out to fix the region jumpers that my friend killed. He lost the JP7 trace with a soldering iron that was way too hot. Thankfully my soldering skills have significantly improved over the years through pinball repair and building over 100 Gameboy Micro to Gamecube link cables (I was the one to discover it was possible!). Long story short, I was able to repair the console enough to set the region to America. My Action Replay, which I didn't have a the time, should take care of the rest. Now to research how to build a RGB cable for it...

Hi, I'm new.

I found this site after being forwarded to it by a friend. I wanted to know about the Sega Saturn see. After giving everything a good read I bought one off eBay!

I'll definitely need to be going over that mod chip lark one more time though. It's pretty essential that I do it, as I'm wanting to play Panzer Dragoon Saga but am reluctant to pay £100 for it...

So anyway I look forward to my console, and to speaking with you.

Im more of a casual gamer with a bit of time spent on my PSOne, the only system I owned until I scored a Saturn a few days ago on ebay. I haven't played a game that interested me since the 32 bit era, probably because of low income and an increasinly-shorter attention span, but for some reason the games of my coming-of-age years still fasinate me. As we speak my Saturn and Mod chip are in the mail, on their way...
