Anyone know of a decent air mattress for less than $100 that they would recommend?

That's where I slept last night. Not good for someone who has a history of back pain.

That sucks, I know what a bad nights sleep can do to a bad back, I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but if you can't seem to get an air mattress soon, couch cushions should do the trick, or couch might help? Good Luck with it!

Thanks snickers. I'll probably end up buying an aerobed tonight. They are pricey, but, I need a good nights sleep. Sofa won't work either, I'm over 6'1, 190 lbs., I needs me some space.

If you don't manage to get a new air mattress today, put the cushions on the floor maybe that way your feet can hang over the edge a little. If you're on a hardwood or tile floor, make some masking tape loops to keep the cushions form wandering. Yes I'm speaking from experience.

I can picture it; Hobesters, taping down sofa cushions on a hardwood floor, getting ready for a good nights sleep.

I'm getting a new air mattress tonight. Hopefully I can find a decent one.

Drunk bed? You can't roll out of the floor.

I used to sleep on the floor when I was really, really tired and was afraid that I wouldn't get up in the morning. Nobody ever hits their alarm clock to climb back into their warm, soft floor.

Speaking of floor, Luke, you might consider a Futon mattress. My brother lives in Japan, and that's what he sleeps on every night. But I guess they probably don't store or travel as well as an air mattress.

Hilarious.

That reminds me of a Mitch Hedberg joke:

"A futon is an uncomfortable couch that turns into an uncomfortable bed"

I need to keep the space I have, so I'll be picking up an air mattress. I'm not going to need for long either, so I should be (at least) somewhat comfy.

I'm strapped with two cans of lysol and some Purell. Those virus bastards don't stand a chance.

Actually, it was years ago. Had a friend was visiting that didn't want to deal with the cats my then roomate had. Just being resourceful.
