Just giving you the business.Limewater wrote:Nah, you don't have to do that. I just bitch a lot. This game is about having fun, not being super-anal.

All that said, since there was not a space given for the exclamation point, and you beat me with the "Yo Noid" no exclamation point answer, I still think you should get the point.
But I'm totally not cool with changing early answers using the edit function.

What is better to use, multiple posts, or edits? My original answer was Yo Noid, then edited to add the "!". I guess the mods can see what has or not has been edited, not completely sure.Limewater wrote:All that said, since there was not a space given for the exclamation point, and you beat me with the "Yo Noid" no exclamation point answer, I still think you should get the point.

Well, the guys running the show aren't Mods, so I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot.Luke wrote:

When you edit a post, it does put a mark at the bottom. However, it only gives the time of the last edit. But, Hobie clarified earlier that separate answers need to be in separate posts.
The trouble with edits is that they don't give good granularity on time. In this case, you beat me on the "Yo Noid" answer, but both of our posts were at 10:13EST. The only way the judges know that your post was first is because it posted to the forum first.
However, you then edited your answer to include "Yo! Noid" at 10:14. However, I also answered "Yo! Noid" at 10:14, but I know that my message posted before your edit did. However, the judges looking at the board can't tell that. That's why I think separate posts should be used for edits/clarifications.
