do you all remember i was pissed with the rf unit and was gonna put pins in my saturn. well i did it and added a remote door switch wile i was at it.
it works fine.

Yeah I made a connector similar to that for my genesis and 32X. Although I stuck the needles through cork and a slice of rubber to keep them evenly spaced and then soldered the wire to the ends of the needles.

I drilled a genny and put regular AV jacks to the side of it

barely visible but oh well

i tryed to put av lacks on the back of my saturn last night an killed it.
damm soldering iron did not heat up and melt things properly and it made a mess.

after i finished cleaning it i must have left somthing somwhere and it got fryed.

I drilled the holes, not melted them, although melting was the original idea, but the iron wasn't going through fast enough and that thing was starting to stink

What is going on with your saturn? no power, no picture, no spinning disc?

no pic.
tried to solder wires to the motherboard and the solder got all over the pins and was very hard to clean up.
must have got to much solder on the motherboard.

get some flux rosin for electronics, not the pluming shit that eats boards. put it on the areas where you made a solder mess. and heat it up it will pull the stuff together and clean it up for you.

Yeah, if there is a LOT of solder, you can put it on a thick wire so it will go there
