I just got a flu shot yesterday, but it doesn't cover H1N1. I work at a university and my wife works at a middle school. We're both kind of just waiting for the inevitable point where one of our students passes it on to us.

Good luck in keeping a clean bill of health Luke, and may your wife and Gen Chaos get well soon. :)

Thank you Mr.T. I asked the pharmacist if it would even be worth it to spray some lysol around the house. She paused, and replied, "Actually yes. Why haven't I thought about that?".

I'm holed up in my gameroom with my dog Ripley, surrounded by games, and all I have to nourish myself is a mini fridge packed to the gills with Heineken. Wait a second... Why am I complaining?

Nice. I set it up and was waiting for someone to knock it out of the park. That you did.

I too was diagnosed a while ago, I am fine now though, I didn't feel that bad, but apparently I was really pale and ran a flu that my parents couldn't get to break. I did wake up one night in a puddle of sweat, but really, for me it wasn't much more than a regular flu...

The fitness center I work out at has a steam room, I sit in that baby for 10-15 min 3-4 times a week and it keeps me healthy. <3 steam rooms <3

From what I read it's dangerous if you don't get meds right away. The people that have died from it has been because a weak immune system or they had taken other meds thinking it was a cold and covered the symptoms. Then when they get really sick it's hard for the meds to work. So if you feel you have any of the symptoms, get to the doc, take it easy, do no take any meds by yourself if you have cold or flu symptoms. Things will be fine. It's hell but most people will be ok.
Thanks everyone...

What are all the symptoms you guys had? I know the basic flu symptoms but apparently some people have swine and don't even know. It effects some people differently.

Two people I work with had it over the summer. For them it was miserable, but they got through without complications. So I wish you all the best. It is spreading more and more it seems, but it is funny how the media doesn't care anymore. Over the summer they made it out to be the next Apocalypse.
