We should stereotype muslims - sarcasm fyi
Re: We should stereotype muslims - sarcasm fyi
When I worked in the US, I remember a guy who used to say he was a redneck as an excuse so he could spout any kind of nonsense without being called out on it (supposedly).
Or maybe he just didn't like me because he performed a shitty job and was always in my way when I was working -- maybe he just said he didn't like Brazilians so that it wouldn't make it personal. Who knows.

This is true.Luke wrote:There are plenty of rednecks around where I live. You wouldn't believe how many rebel flags I see displayed either on bumper stickers, clothes, and even on flag poles.
And the whole "Its not hate, its heritage" is bull shit. My family is from Germany, I'm first generation. That would be like me flying a flag with a swastika on it at telling Jewish people, "Its not hate, its heritage".
I'm German as well. If I even tell people I'm German somebody is bound to pull the "your a Nazi? OMFGZ!!!" shit on me.
Not all Germans are Nazi's. We don't tie our heritage to some crazy ass person.

How many are? My assumption would be very, very few.RyaNtheSlayA wrote: Not all Germans are Nazi's.

Both sets of my Grandparents came over to the US because they didn't agree with Hitler. One of my Grandfathers actually fought with the US Army.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:

Considering that unless it's in a history lecture depicting a swastika on pretty much anything in Germany is forbidden, your assumption is probably correct.General Chaos wrote:How many are? My assumption would be very, very few.RyaNtheSlayA wrote: Not all Germans are Nazi's.

Well the problem is that many muslims have religious sayings or leave messages about their religion when they kill, suicide bombings and so on. I agree with the fact that religious muslim leaders should condemn every attack and killing but it seems like they never do.kingmohd84 wrote:I never realized how powerful the media can be until some one argued that,
Only when muslims kill , they blame the religion for it, if Jews/Christians/Atheist/Buddhist or any other belief commits a crime, its not because of it, he is just a bad person.
by the way, what does a redneck mean.
I always thought it was offensive but then people would tell me it actually means people who's skin is red, usually from south of USA. I see the term used a lot by people, but then I ask if I called one of them a "redneck" would he be upset, and they said yes. I don't get it, is it offensive or not?
Thanks everyone...

Christians do the same thing. Usually when they kill doctors.

So every priest should have to make a statement condemning every catholic who kills somebody in the name of god? And many Islamic leaders have spoken out against extremist beliefs, I encourage everyone to take some time out of a Friday and actually go to a Mosque and sit in on a service, you might be suprised with the similarities between Islam and most other religions.Gnashvar wrote:Well the problem is that many muslims have religious sayings or leave messages about their religion when they kill, suicide bombings and so on. Why don't we end the Bible at Abraham. That way all three become one.
