I am a late-late-late adopter of the Wii. I got one last week so the wife could have Wii Fit (which I'll probably use more than she will) and so I could have at least one current generation system so I can plan Beatles Rock Band.
Looking through the racks and racks of Wii games, I see very little that really appeals to me. I bought Overlord but I haven't tried it yet. Not sure how well my favorite genre of games will mesh with the cutsie Wii interface.
I'm more than willing to buy a classic controller and shopping used games for Gamecube games to find a few that haven't been available to me via my Sega and Sony machines (I've never really owned a new Nintendo product before now).
So, recommend me a few action/adventure games for Wii and GC.

These should be fairly easy to find used:
Action/Adventure:
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
Okami
Super Paper Mario - it is an rpg, but it plays like a platformer with exploration elements.
Point and Click Adventure:
Broken Sword Directors Cut
Zack and Wiki
Indiana Jones Staff of Kings - It has Fate of Atlantis as an unlockable. The game itself is soso, but Fate of Atlantis is one of the finest adventure games ever created.

Just so u know, you can not use a classic controller on Gamecube games, you have to have Gamecube controllers and memory cards. Classic controller is mostly for you with the virtual console and some Wii games, however very rarely

Late adopter = buying the console when it has been out there for a while
The Wii is what, 3 years old now? I'd call that late in the cycle...
Racketboy is much more than a retro game site, it is a gaming site with a retro emphasis.
