Are you going to do the sound fix/bass enhancement mod? That's the one thing I'd change on mine if I was feeling ambitious.

I will be replacing the speaker in the GBC.
But if it still doesn't sound good I will be doing that mod.

Its GBC(2) the C is squared because its called the Gameboy Color Contradiction.
Because its a GBC but in black and white.

I don't know how it looks on the inside, but for size-sound ratio, this mini speaker/amp combo does pretty well:

Sorry for the lack of updates guys.
The guy i bought a GBC off turned out to be a scammer. :roll:
So i'm on the look out for another one.

Wow, cool GBC! Can't wait to see what else you'll do with it.

If I was any good with electronics, I would have opened up my own GBC and put in a backlight a long time ago... :P It'd be nice, since my hands easily cramp on a GBA SP, and I end up playing my GBC games more than GBA.
