Who still has their first Xbox 360?
Who still has their first Xbox 360?
People are still angry (myself included) that MS still dont admit that there is a problem with 360's i.e. the failure rate.
Just wanted to ask how many people are still on their first system? Who has not had a problem with their system?
I am personally on my third system.

I've still got my first, it works just fine. Got it back around October on a whim. My girlfriend was freaking out because we were just walking around the store talking and the sort and then I looked over at the 360 and was like... "Hey, you know what. I'm gonna get a 360."
her - "Excuse me?"
me - "Yeah, I think I want a 360."
her - "No... you can't just think you want one. What are you talking about."
me - "You can get yourself a game for it if you want."
She picked out 2 games for herself. Damn it.

Haha same thing happened to me. The wife picked up Viva Piañata when I was buying the 360 and she was nagging about spending 400+ on a video game system. And she doesn't let me play when shes home (flight attendant) she plays that thing or Hexic.

Just seen this article as well. Says a repair company will not do any more repairs on 360s!

I'm still using my first and only 360 -- purchased sometime after all the hype and the lines and what-not. Actually, purchased after they identified a major hardware failure with the power supplies.
Granted, it hasn't received a huge amount of play-time -- with only Kameo, Viva Pinata and Fozra 2 as discs. Been loving the small games available via arcade, however. Anyone want to do some on-line gaming, feel free to look up "durkada" as my gamer tag.
My friends have not had problems with their either. But between all of us, we certainly allow the beasts to have as much breathing room as possible -- I would suspect that air-flow, or lack thereof, tends to be the killing stroke for most of them.
Cheers,
Jon
