What was the last movie you've seen?

I personally prefer Ernest Goes to Jail, because he gets magic powers from the electric chair.
That is my favorite too. Saw it last July. Another good Ernest piece is the "Your World As I See It" thing. Not sure if it's a TV episode or what, but it was pretty good.

*EDIT* Apparently, Ernest Goes to School and Ernest in the Army may exist. Either I have seen neither, or I repressed all associated memories.
When you say they don't exist, do you mean literally, or do you mean that you hate them so much you shun them? Because if it's the first one, I know Ernest Rides again exists, because I own it, along with the horrible Ernest goes to Africa. Ernest in the Army does exist, and it's horrible too. Africa and Army both seem like they were filmed with $50 camcorders, and written by 10 year olds.

Got the soundtrack I liked that one that much. And I laughed so hard when they used the title track in Scrubs. I actually caught a movie on Public Broadcasting a couple months ago that was like a qatsi but shot in the thirties. Ill have to find that again, it was incredible.
Sounds like it could be 'Man With A Movie Camera' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0019760/
There's a couple of soundtracks for it, stunning movie.

No, I am sorry. You are incorrect. You must have dreamed these films.

Hhhmmm, for some reason I rewatched House of the Dead last night. I can usually get through any movie and find some aspect of it enjoyable or at least worth a laugh. This movie truly tested me. I think without the ten minute scene of them doing matrix style moves (each shot has them holding a different weapon and half of the time it's raining) it might have been good as a movie to laugh at with your friends.

I didn't think House of the Dead 2 was too bad. Still not good. My favorite video game movie, so far, is Doom. Not a masterpiece, but still kickass.

Now that is a great film but it wasnt that one - it was about New York.

Re-watched? Are you mad?

We got a promo DVD of HotD at my old job even though we only rented anime. I brought it home and watched it as my first (and only) Ewe Boll movie one night when I was feeling dangerous. Other than the reasonably attractive heroine, it was just so bad and far removed from any tie to the game that I'm aware of, not being knowledgeable about the series.

I haven't played the series either, but the most accurate scenes are probably the cut scenes featuring actual shots of the video games. I can some up that entire movie's quality with the following quote:

STUPID KID: "You did all this to become immortal? Why?"
ZOMBIE PIRATE: "To live forever."

The most annoying character is Clint Howard's fisherman. He is dressed like the Morton Fisherman for some reason and is doing an absurd accent that sounds like a super-white American nerd doing a bad impression of a Cajun.

Interesting thought, I heard that Uwe was so tired of people criticizing his movies that he challenged all his critics to a boxing match to see if anyone was man enough to step up.

He did. He took five people who claimed to be his top 5 critics to box. He said he would offer them training and equipment. While they did end up getting the training, none of them ever got trained, and the only one of the five who had done some boxing training, Uwe refused to fight.

You also need to realize that Uwe was a professional boxer for a few years in Germany. He didn't stay in for too long, but it was more than enough to cream the guys he fought(one of which required medical treatment afterward).

And I've played the games. The House of the Dead film was bullshit.
