Its the Characters name, although the same character also went by the name Del Preston which you might find more familiar

Ok no facepalm for me, I haven't seen the movie. I must be confusing the image with something else.

Had to research it, unfortunately. Never heard of the movie, but I'll have to check it out now. Looks interesting - at least the movie posters for it remind me of Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.

Director Bruce Robinson will even be helming an adaptation of The Rum Diaries. That's two counts of this director reminding me of Hunter S. Thompson, and it usually only takes one for me to be interested.

Is that still in production? I thought it had fell of the edge since I hadn't heard anything for years.

Withnail is very British and one of those films that grows on you. I didn't see what the fuss was about the first I watched it, then the second time around, when I was familiar with the characters it all slotted beautifully into place
