Is absolutely amazing. Any grunge, old Alice in Chain fan, Jerry Cantrell fan, or metal fan should pick it up. Its just plain awesome.

What did they do for vocals since Lane Staley died in 2002?

They hired a new vocalist, William Duvalle. and for the most part he does the band justice. Jerry still does backing vocals so BGWTB still retains that spooky vibe of the ol alice.

Actually Jerry does most of the singing, while Will does most of the back-up. However, there are a few songs where Will sings the lead. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is track 3. Regardless this album is far better than it had any right to be considering the events that preceded its release.

I did like the first single, "Check My Head." Sounds like classic AiC to me

We'll always miss Layne though. I can't imagine anybody doing "Down in a Hole" or "Rooster" quite like he did.

I'm glad they retained there sound but didn't try to emulate Staley's voice. Cantrell really needs to step back a little and let Duvall spread his wings. It sounds a lot like Cantrell's solo albums. Its good, but just doesn't have that haunting, tormented to the soul sound that AIC once had.

little known fact William Duvall played guitar in Neon Christ, from 1984-1986, any fan of extremely fast music should check it out

It's actually check my brain friend. My top songs would have to be:
1. Acid Bubble
2. A looking in View
3. Private Hell
4. Last of my Kind.
