Would you try to do it?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Would you try to do it?

Post by lost_within »

I recently messaged a guy with a neogeo arcade cab, 2 slot machine. Came with some REALLY good games...metalslugx,MoTw,kof, blazing stars, you get the idea...

He got back to me tonight saying he would trade me for my ps3 and a few games...now if I get it I would more than likly have to store it somewhere...but I also know that cabs are rare and far inbetween in my area....would you guys jump on it consider you can always get another ps3? Or just pass until you have more room?
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

Personally, the storage factor is what would make the decision for me. I really want to get a Neo Geo cabinet, but I will not buy one until I am living somewhere I'll be staying for several years and have the space to keep it in my home.

Were storage not an issue, however, I would make the trade.

more than likly it would be stored in a house that is no more than 45 minutes from me. Moms house or that kind of thing. I MIGHT could put it here in the garage but I highly doubt it. Hard choice to make...

If I were to get a cab I'd get an Astro City cab. I love Neo Geo stuff but I think the PS3 would be better unless you had somewhere to keep it and it was in pristine condition. If not get a CMVS! If its not in the same location at you, pass.

The cab is in great condition, doesnt even need to be cleaned at all...if you look at the pics he posted its actually IN his house right now. The only thing its missing is one of the black sleeves that rest at the bottom of ONE joystick. He also has the original coin slots.

I'd get the cab for sure.
If I were you, I'd find a way to make room for it.

Another vote for the cab. Like you said, you won't have trouble finding another PS3.

Wait, qestion: Are you married?

If you aren't, you might be able to make it work.

If you are, I personally don't recommend trying to make it work, unless your wife is as excited as the prospect as you are.
