Oh yeah I know them all!! All awesome. Do you know The Falcon? The raspy singer from Lawrence Arms' side project?
never heard, i will have to check it out. i don't get the cult following that LA has always had but i thought they were alright. avail and kid dynamite are probably two of my favorite bands ever.

Wow, Nathan Barnatt having Dillinger four and Minor Threat in his top 5 favorite bands just made my day. You guys should check out the UK band Leatherface they're kinda old/weird but theres something about them I love. Anywho, heres my top 5 but feel like on any given day I could have a completely different list depending on mood.

Jawbreaker
Suicide File
The Pogues

did you go see Suicide File at TIH this year? i was at the show in chicago a couple years back, the jim grimes birthday thing. it ruled. i put that band in the same category as i would put burn and unbroken, bands that were doing something a little different than their contemporaries at the time and were WAY better (for the most part) as a result of it.

and i suppose now that all three bands have been mentioned, i should tell you that probably my 10th or 11th show ever was Avail, Dillinger Four, and Leatherface. Booyah. 15 years old.

Haha thats awesome I would probably give a kidney to see those three bands play together today. Unfortunately I did not see Suicide File this year as I am one of those grumpy scene dropouts and I rarely go to shows anymore let alone something as big as This is Hardcore.

You are such a fucking champion. Plus, I looked at your Last.FM profile and noticed that you have amassed 13 Koro plays. You, IcKy99? I love you.
