What phone do you have?

Post by Octopod »

What kind of phone is everyone using? I don't own a phone and I am thinking about buying a Droid. I'm worried that if I buy one though that a better version will come out in just a few months lol. Also Verizon plans are expensive but atleast it is a better network than AT&T. Wish I could use it with Sprint really.

HTC G1 ("T-Mobile G1") the "first" android phone. it kicks ass. cheaper than the iphone, open dev, easier to hack, great emulation. it's a good phone.

HTC P4000
Slide-out backlit keyboard doubles as a joypad when you map the keys properly.

I got a Blackjack 2 not that long ago, just before AT&T quit carrying them. $50 with my plan and no required data fee makes it a pretty great phone for everything I need.

Iphone 3g

Call quality is so so. Coverage is really bad - I can't even get a decent signal where I live (San Francisco Bay Area), but it's really more a portable web-browsing device than anything else. And I really like it for that (assuming I get a signal - lol).
