A developer discussed and showed images of an "undisclosed Wii game" that was being worked on. The images look like they could easily be a Jackal remake.

Re: Jackal ReBirth?
Well, it's a 3D game so it probably wont be a ReBirth title, kinda like the new Frogger, I guess.
I know a lot of people are put off by them, but I'm really siked about all the retro-remakes. Contra, Rocket Knight, Castlevania, Jackal, DAMN! Konami must be very happy with all of the money I'm giving them.

A game that looks like Jackal, feels like Jackal, and smells like Jackal? I... I need to sit down.

Oh shit.

You know that Contra Rebirth and Rocket Knight (IDK about Castlevania) aren't remakes, right? They're new games. Anyway, I'm excited as hell. Thanks to these and Capcom's retro-revival (MM9, SF2THD, BC:RA) I'm actually using my PS3.HellHammer wrote: I know a lot of people are put off by them, but I'm really siked about all the retro-remakes. Hmm. Guess I had just assumed they were each loosely based on previous titles, but you're fully right.GSZX1337 wrote:A game that looks like Jackal, feels like Jackal, and smells like Jackal? I... I need to sit down.

However, Castlevania ReBirth is a 're-envisioning' of the GB Adventure title, which is awesome because SCIV was my favorite Castevania game and was also a 're-envisioning'.

Am I too greedy to want a four player version?

Re: Jackal ReBirth?
No, I don't think so. The consoles can certainly handle four player online co-op.fastbilly1 wrote:Am I too greedy to want a four player version?

Re: Jackal ReBirth?
My great friend Paulie and I have a tradition every time we get together, beat Jackal. This would be awesome news for us, especially if we could play co-op on-line. Contra rebirth should have included on-line co-op as well.
