@GSZX1337

Besides classical, Metal especially THRASH is all I listen to. I have over 900 metal CDs maybe more I just bought 40 last month and havent organized them yet. I don't really consider Holy Moses as the first German thrash band because even though they formed in 1980 they didn't release anything till 1985 and Destructions first release is 1984. Thats like saying Metal Church is the first Thrash band because they formed in 1979 or 80, depending on who you talk to. I wasn't saying old destruction or mid kreator is bad. I was warning others who might not like change or poor quality. I have all of Kreators albums and most of Destructions (missing the mid 90's stuff) I have Them Not Me though. I also don't have any of Kreators remasterd stuff except a compilation I bought but that is remixed/remastered. I have been waiting on the new Heathen album for 5 years, the demos don't satisfy I need more. I blame Lee Atlus for being to busy with Exodus to finish recording with Heathen. If you want to see some of my music collection check out my "Just my game room and more" thread.

A word to the wise on Overkill, though I love this band and have all their albums (they released more Thrash albums then any other Metal band and will be at 17 full releases when Ironbound comes out early next year) The singers voice might be a turn off to some. He sounds like a punk version of AC/DC with someones grandma thrown in. Be open minded when you listen to Overkill and you want regret it.

I wasn't listing my fav bands or classical because I was listing bands I thought Harsyia1 might get into by his list.

just to satisfy you luke
Classicaly J.S. Bach is the way to go not all happy like Mozart and not all meloncoly like Beethoven. But I have been getting in to more recent works namely Johann Strauss II but that could be because I watched 2001 recently.
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

My musical tastes are a bit different then you guys but here it goes.

At the Drive-in - Even the early stuff. Behind the band trying to be more than they are, the cheap instruments and the HORRIBLE audio quality, there is great music to be heard. And the Vaya ep and Relationship of Command album are all time favorites.

Muse - I don't know how musically creative Matt Belamy really is, but it sounds like genius to me. My favorite album is Origin of Symmetry. I have only heard 2 songs from the new one and was not impressed. Im a little scared to give it a listen.....

Silverchair - Most people criticize these guys for being too grunge with the early albums and the criticize them again for changing they're style. I LOVE what they have become and hold Neon Ballroom, Diorama and Young Modern as some of my favorite albums of all time.

The Beastie Boys - They haven't done anything I didn't like. From hardcore punk to hip hop to jazz I loved it all. They also have amazing live shows. Patiently waiting for the new album.....

The Beatles - I don't need to say anything more than that.

Crazy, I'm not a big Mozart fan either.

Hope that guy who had a seizure is okay.
