But I dont DM pnp games (only minis). I actually havent played an RPG in three or four years, I just keep them with me for those times I need to be reminded of good old times - or if I need to sock someone with them since there is a set and a half of steel dice there (bought them off this site actually). Though it was funny when I brought them out at a Church event.

So I'm guessing you cannibalized a Guitar Hero spacer for your DS lite spinner or was there actually a paddle made for the original DS?

Personally I'm actually starting to come around towards your viewpoint as well. I mostly carry around a bag at almost all times so the size wouldn't really bother me. Plus, the brown colored one is pretty eye catching from what the pictures show.

This is fucking stupid. Why do they keep shitting out new DS? Did they run out of handheld ideas? Well I guess since they will keep releasing stupid shit, stupid people will keep buying it.

They've sold more DS's than the combined amount of the entire GameBoy line, there's no way they're going to alienate and piss off those customers, it'd be corporate suicide.

Plus this isn't a new DS it's just a larger version of the DSi designed for either older people and parties or those who enjoy having a larger screen.

I say let Nintendo sell as many DS's and Wii's as they like. In 4 or 5 years when they sell for $30, I will pick both of them up. 8)

I use the spinner that came with the Japanese release of Arkanoid DS, no Guitar Hero mod for me. It makes both Arkanoid and Space Invaders so much easier.

Apparently a group has made it possible to play GBA games on a DSi from the SD card slot. Ill believe it when I see it. BUT if they can do the same to the the XL that is an easy buy for me.

And toredauei, shut up or Ill start telling you about the characters I use to play. Namely the talking bear divine healer.

Man, I want a spinner, but I can't justify $40+ just to play Space Invaders Extreme with it. I assume SIE2 works with it too? Still that's just 2 games that are nearly the same.

It also works with Arkanoid DS and a few other old school titles, most of which were Taito ones.

I'd say PM Hashiriya1 and see if he could get you one for cheap.

Considering there is no console version of the DS, nor an adapter similar to the Gamecube Game Boy Player, this would likely be the ideal device for playing DS games in your own home. When you want to play games in the waiting room at the dentist, you can slip the smaller DS Lite into your pocket and be good to go. I'd like to buy a DSi LL a few years from now when I can get one for a cheap price.
