I bought a new Neo Geo

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I bought a new Neo Geo

Post by NathanBarnatt »

I now own a for real MVS cabinet. 4 slots with a 25 inch monitor! It came with Art of Fighting too! I'm pumped!

Now does anyone wanna buy my single slot?

Congrats man! I know the four slots are supposed to be real hard to find. What else are you going to put it in?

I bought this one from a laundro-mat in Hollywood. I saw it and just asked the guy if I could buy it and he was like "yeah OK".

Right now I have Art OF fighting, Metal Slug, World Heros and Samurai Showdown 4 in it.

My 100 game cartridge doesnt seem to work very well in it. Dont know why. But it works great in my single slot.

Why not keep both then, and plug the four you mentioned into the 4-slotter while the 100 cart stays in the single?

I got it for $550. Yeah i was thinking of keeping the old neo in the living room and putting the new one in my room. but i wanna maybe try to clean up and get rid of the things i dont use all the time. i'll use the 4 slot but the single i might not and I have a MAME that I never touch anymore.

Can you post some pics? I'd love to see it.

Despite the hostile crowd at neo-geo.com, that would be the best place to sell your one slot.

I have a 4-slot as well in my japanese neo geo cab...they're great boards but they DO NOT play well with multi carts, like the 100-in-1 you have.
