I'll PM you my address. I'll expect you to be here tomorrow, 8am.

Sharp!
Man, I was already there. Nobody answered the door. Didn't you see the sticky note I left?

You are like my post man. He always leaves a note saying he missed me, but he never knocks.

This might be one of those wires that needs to be taped down. I'm sure the seller and will work things out, I have 100% confidence in him, and i know he's not trying to screw me over. I think what happened is that when he shipped it, the cord may have been wound too tight, and when the cord is 27+ years old, it's not too difficult to bend to a point of breakage.

I saw a YouTube video a while back - turned out to be a faulty tact switch on the on/off! Give it a try - might be faulty and temperamental!!

I've got it working, but it is very delicate. One jerk of the controller, and the system turns off.
I'm googling faq's on the power adapter to see if I can fix it.

My AC adapter did not warm up - so it is definitely shot. Is there any way to test the unit with another AC Adapter of some sort? Maybe by doing some hard wiring or something since it has a proprietary plug?

Mine only turns on when I'm naked. Not sure if that helps.

Sounds like a loose connection or a break in the wire. Unless its a break in the wire right near the plug, it should be fixable.

Should be easy to hack the plug onto another wall wart. Just gotta cut and splice. Just gotta make sure the polarity is correct and the voltage is right. The amperage needs to be the same or higher.
