My prayers, or if you prefer, my thoughts are with you and your family. If there is anything I can do, just let me know. I'm definitely here for you.

I feel awkward posting Halloween pics now, but:

I was trying to give the jack-o-lantern a smirk.

I really wanted to post pictures of my wife and I in our costumes, but all three of the pictures turned out blurry. Guess the picture taker was a little tipsy. I was fully suited in a Carolina Hurricanes hockey uniform, including all pads and inline hockey skates, with a black eye, some missing teeth, broken nose, and a large slash on the side of my neck.
Emily went as the girl with the green ribbon from "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark". She was all sorts of cute. She wore a black cocktail dress, black pumps, with a green ribbon around her neck that was dripping a little blood. She also used a little makeup to make her face pale, and used a little dark eye liner. If someone else at the party has a picture of us, I'll be sure to post it.

My condolences to you, Ryan.

A lot of people took pictures of my costume, but oddly we forgot to. I went as box of Franzia with a functional spout and 5 liter bag of wine taped to the inside of it. I had to blow up a scan of the original box to three times its size and in the low light of the party I literally had people asking me if I had found a display for the product. Gravity got the best out of the duct tape and the bag fell out about half an hour in ("ugh! my wine broke!"), but it was quite the conversation starter. Once someone from the party posts pictures I'll upload them.

Oh, right, and my wife went as a tornado. Also homemade, which while slightly overshadowed by my own costume, was still quite awesome. It had toys of farm animals attached to it, as well as a giant squid, for good measure.

Beat up hockey player, and the wife as the girl with the green ribbon from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. And yes, I skated all night, and kept the gloves on for most of the night. I learned that hockey gloves make the perfect beer coozie. I also learned that if you dress as a hockey player in NC, everyone assumes you are supposed to be Wayne Gretzky, regardless of the fact I was wearing a Ron Francis sweater.

Never took any pics though, like I said Halloween has always been a pretty shit holiday for me so I don't ever see reason to capture the moments on film/digital.
Same here... This year was esspecially bad, as my mom died around 2pm today.

Alas, my wife's costume didn't come out too well in the picture, but I assure you a lot of work went into it.

Ok, I got distracted and didn't have time to bic my head, but I was going to repeat a costume from 2 years ago. This thread needs more pictures, so here's me as Dr Venture in 2007 at work.

Good stuff so far. :D
