I picked up ChoroQ complete for PS2 for $2.99. The disc is a bit scratched, and the case is literally falling apart, though the manual and inserts are perfect and the game still runs, so I thought it was a good deal. I also bought GTA: Vice City for $4.99, Spyhunter for $2.99, and Kinetica for $3.99, all complete for PS2 and in good condition.

If you want something that is not a PS2 game, sports title, vastly over priced Saturn title, or an NES controller, it is not worth the drive. I mean seriously, Panzer Dragoon 2 loose for $40.

Modman, that would be a good idea, but even then - if someone offers me $100ish for something I buy for $30-50, its gone. Unless I buy a CDX or Laseractive.
Oh my God, that is far away. What is that like 100 miles away from you?

I need some more Xboxes (At least three more) and Saturn's and Dreamcast's (At least two more of each) at the moment, but that's a purchase for another time when I have cash.
I have about 200 xbox games so i like having back up xbox's. It's really easy to get cheap xbox's right now but something tells me in a few years there going to be hard to come buy so im trying to stock up now.

I picked up an Action Replay and Mech Assault for the original X-Box for $15.

In case anyone was wondering, the soft mod was a success! Now I just need to get MAME and maybe an SNES emulator on it and I'll be all set.

Something like it - I was down there anyway, friend of a friend who shipped out to Iraq yesterday and it was a going away party. Ill be damned before I dont give anyone who is in the armed services well wishes or prayer before they go hot.

The other day I got a Panasonic REAL 3DO (The front-loading model, which I guess is an FZ-1) at a thrift shop for $7.99. It powers up and the disk tray works, but I don't have any games to fully test it out.

I guess my next purchase will be a 3DO controller.

Just got an INSANE deal on the Electrace Pulseman arrangement soundtrack CD for Pulseman on eBay complete with case and spinecard. I honestly have no idea what the arrangements on it even sound like as all the info I could find was the listing on VGMdb.com here: http://vgmdb.net/album/1192 But I figured what's there to lose when I had the chance to and WON a $5 (shipped) auction for an incredibly rare game OST from the mid-90's, right?

Here's a link to the original auction page:

Can anyone here spare some more info as to what this OST sounds like or anything else about it?

Who the heck is buying up Sega CD's for $100?

Personally I've begun hoarding any CD based hardware myself though so I can understand the crazed buyer mentality, just to a far lesser and more frugal extent.

Too bad it's a Model 1 and it's drive will most likely break during transit from rough handling like mine did.
