Check out all of these video game kiosks for sale.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'm very tempted to buy one I live only 250 miles from there, I'm 29 years old so I grew up with it all but I would say because of high school the n64,ps1 era of gaming holds the least amount of memories for me I just didn't game much from 95 - 99 because of high school and partys etc... I had a ps1 that I played a few games on and I had n64 because of golden eye but that's it. Now the whole sega, super nintendo and nintendo era was my childhood so that stuff means a lot but the super nintendo is just not that cool looking imo. A kiosk has to look cool, the n64 is way to big and bulky for being so simple. Now I got back into gaming hardcore when the dreamcast came out and have been hardcore since. So as far as meaning goes the ps2 and dreamcast one are what I'm most interested in even thou the dreamcast one is kind of funky looking.

Like I said before I think the best looking is the cube one but I already own it. :).
I like the small compact size of the dreamcast one a lot and the ps2 one Is super clean but a but borning. Not sure I really like the dreamcast one thou the more I look at it.

Super nintendo and n64 one are out for sure both to funky looking. The ps1 one is not bad but really bulky for such a small tv setup. Which one should I get the ps2 or the dreamcast one?

You know one thing I didn't think about with the ps2 one that might keep me from buying it. If the tv goes out where am I going to find a 14inch LCD that fits in that thing. I think the dreamcast one I'd my best especially because of the compact size.

You could just replace the backlights when they burn out on it. The total cost would be around 10+ with shipping and only takes about 20-30 minutes to do the swap.

That or you could just take the screen to an authorized Sony repair shop.

I will have to look into that. The more i think about the dreamcast one, it's just to ugly. And it doesn't even light up anywhere.

Nothing a weekend of modding couldn't fix. 8)

Yeah!

Some orange softglow neon around the screen and over the console or some orange LED's in the speaker/vent holes on the sides wouldn't hurt and should be a snap to install.

See it's not realestic to own a ton of kiosk's there quite large, i already own the gamecube one it's one i really wanted. I also want it to look cool also. I have room for one maybe 2 more. The kiosk i REALLY want is an original xbox kiosk so i'm trying to hold out for that one. I also wouldn't mind having a sega saturn kiosk there really cool.

That DC one actually looks cooler than the ones I've seen for sale. It's weird to think that they'd actually have multiple models of kiosks..

anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the quote on the auction page:

"Imagine waking up on Christmas morning to this amazing item!"

Umm.. I'm pretty sure little Timmy would say "what the hell is this? I wanted a 360!"

The PS1 kiosk brings back memories. The days of jiggly, ripping textures. It's hard to believe I ever thought those graphics were impressive. Then again, anything's possible to a person who was wowed by Sonic the Hedgehog 2's "3D" bonus levels I guess. Anyway, it makes me want to go play some PS1 games right now.

I have a very hard time playing ps1 games anymore unless it was a side scroller. Certain systems have aged very badly and the PlayStation is one of them next to the sega saturn.
The N64 to me has aged well games are still fun. That extra 32 bits and smooth textures helps a lot.
