Jet Set Radio or JSRF - Which do you prefer?

Post by kinn »

I'm a little miffed that JSRF isnt working on the 360 via BC for people in Pal regions. So I went back for a quick go on JSR on the DC.

Its still amazing to me how class this game is although if I had to choose, I would say JSRF is the better title.

What do you guys think? I know a lot of people didnt like JSRF since the tagging was automated.

p.s. I know the Jap version of JSR was different from the USA verison (USA version had additional music plus a new level). But whats thats Jap only re-released version called? And what was different in that? Bug fixes?

They called the Japan re-release De La Jet Set Radio, the game fixed most of the glitches in the original Japanese version of the game, The gameplay in this version was easier to pick up and included the music, levels and characters from the European and US versions. The text featured in the game are localized in the main language of your Dreamcast, unlike the original Japanese version, which means that if your Dreamcast system is set to English language, the text in the game will be in English. The same goes for Japanese and French for example.

I prefer the original too, mostly because its easier to just play and have a fun while, I do like the idea of a big garage to train and mess around in JSRF, but getting from one place to another really gets annoying later
