What Console Have You Always Wanted To Learn About?

Post by racketboy »

Is there a console that you've heard a lot of talk about and caught your interest, but know next to nothing about?

The TG16 would be mine. I'm hoping to learn a bit more as I start to research and write for some guides.
What's cool about writing for the site is that I learn a lot along the way :)

Definitely the TG16. I'm still confused on all the CD System Cards to run the different types of TurboCD games.

I would like to learn more about the TG-16 and it's games and technology. I'd also like to learn more about the Jaguar and 3DO, the forgotten 32-bitters.

PC Engine/Turbografx for me as well. Some of you might have seen that I bought a PC Engine Duo on eBay the other day but had to return it, as one of the games it came with was a pirated copy.

There is a lot to sort out with all the different system cards and whatnot. I'm interested in the Neo Geo as well, although it seems like that info is a little more available.

The PC Engine was class. I have the original white jap console and also the turbo express. Amazing system and small as well!

Back in the day when the SNES and MD (Genesis) were kicking ass with SF2 on tvs, the Turbo Express allowed you to play the game on a handheld!

Neo Geo and TG16.

neo geo. i'm totally confused on the different types and how the home consoles differ from the arcade cabinets, etc.

also nuon, wonderswan, and sega master system and its variants, specifically its popularity and bootleggin-ness in brazil.

i also think a bootleg featurette would be neat.
