Well I will try to post some of the not to common ones I like:
Super Bonk: is one crazy platformer
Rival Turf, the Peace Keepers: is a decent Final Fight clone
Claymates: think clayfighter platformer
Cool Spot: a platformer I use to love when 7up was king
Sparkster: yeah snes Rocket Knight
Brandish: a zelda clone but more RPG
B.O.B: a often overlooked run n gun
Demon's Crest: a darker toned side scroller
Oscar: a late snes platformer which shows graphics wise, much different then the Amiga version
Sky Blazer: this sidescroller looks and plays great
Rocky Rodent: this game was suppose to be a Sonic killer, not as good as Sonic but a decent platformer.
Plok, Time Slip, Mr. Nutz, : platformers I have not played these yet but heard good things
Brawl Brothers, Combatribes, Sonic Blastman: some beatemups I havent played yet
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

Why nobody ever recommends the Capcom platformer Bonkers is beyond me. Yes, it's based on a Disney property, and it's not terribly difficult, but it's very well animated and controls well. Plus, it tends to go for dirt cheap. I was quite impressed with it.

As for beat 'em ups, have you ever tried The Peace Keepers? It's been marred a bit from the Japanese version, but there are lots of playable characters, branching paths, and some interesting fights in it.

Very very nice, Pep. I've been scooping out Super Bonk and nice recommendations. I also wanna try Bonkers(love the show. Didn't know he had a game) like Ack mentioned. I just bought captain commando and demon's crest so I'm looking forward to these two.

If you have the means to play super famicom carts then i reccommend you check out Ganbare Daiku no Gensan otherwise known as Hammering Harry - It's a fun and quirky little platformer that has plenty of character.

Hmmm...while we're on this subject does anyone recommend knights of the round?

No-one seems to have mentioned probably the best game on the SNES, period - Yoshi's Island. It is a fantastic game.

Actually that makes me wonder. Hey Khold, you don't happen to use any collection trackers, do you? I'd like to see what you've got.

Oh ho, chief, might I suggest a few then? RFGeneration.com, Backloggery.com, maybe even IGN's service would work. They all serve different purposes, but I've had good experiences with them, and if ever I need a recommendation but don't want to type up what I own already...oh man, absolutely perfect place to post them.
