Good to know you're getting some deals that more than make up for what you'll drop on something at the other store then.

i'll be taking you guys' offers via pm. let's start the bidding at $90! good luck!
Umm, not to burst your bubble, but that is not the NES we're talking about. The top loading NES we were mentioning was this one here:

It's the official re-design made by Nintendo we would want, not a Famiclone made by a generic company.

wow, really? do i have to be that obvious on this forum ALL the time? i hope those facepalms were meant for Mod_Man's post, not mine.

A wink smilie would have been nice to add at the end of your original post, as it was worded in a very ambiguous "Is he serious or is he joking?" kind of way.

Hey, man, I gave you Post Of The Day. Some of us picked up on the joke.

That said, it is sometimes hard to tell when someone is joking over the internet. I personally refuse to use any emoticon except for the right arrow.

Blue font = sarcasm.

If you know someone well enough, typed sarcasm works. On a forum, even if you know someone, it can still be hard to tell. So I suggest the blue font, you jackasses.

ok good. whew.

i feel like pointing out the sarcasm in a post inherently removes the sarcasm. like "ohhhh, he's making a joke. i get it. i'll file this away and have a hearty guffaw later."

let me just post a disclaimer, about myself, right now, in this thread: i am probably being sarcastic unless i explicitly tell you i'm not being sarcastic.

alright enough derailment. sorry.

I think you are correct. Having at least a brief moment where you aren't sure if the speaker/writer is serious or not makes the whole thing a lot funnier.

When I read your post, I wasn't sure if the writer was serious or not. But, when I scrolled back up and saw that it was you making the post, I knew immediately that it was a joke and actually laughed out loud.
