HDLoader for PS2 Slims

The other day, I was reading the news section of tehskeen.com and came across an article on a company planning to offer a kit to add HDLoader (hard disk loading) capability to slim PS2. Apparently the kit includes a mod chip and a HD interface chip. Supposedly it's being offered for $50 US.

I noticed this on modchip.ca a while back and I assume its what you mean.

I don't think that's it. It appears that the thread over at psx-scene.com is not there anymore for some reason. Here's the announcement at tehskeen.com http://www.tehskeen.com/modules/News/showarticle.php?threadid=14869 At that page, there's a link to the Indonesian site that is working on this.

On second thought, perhaps you're correct? I took a closer look at the Indonesian website and some of the photos appear identical to those of the one you referenced. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

That definitely looks like HD COMBO to me. Take a look at the similarities between the installation pics on the hdcombo site and that indonesian site.

I know Mozgus had one of those as you can see here and he would be all over this thread. I did search psx-scene just to be sure but found no mention of this HD-PRO, the closest thing I found was this.
