PS3 Ketsui ,Espgaluda 2 ,DoDonPachi Daioujou being Ported ?

howdy community , i really want a PS3 but am holding off as i havent heard of any info that Ketsui , Espgaluda 2 , Do Don Pachi Daioujou Black Label Extra and other SHMUPs are going to be ported to PS3.

Are these titles coming to PS3 or should i be looking at the XBOX 360 ?

Well, CAVE are porting some of those games to the 360 in Japan only. Although they carried out a survey to know what game to port next and the international response was so high that they stated that future ports won't be region locked for easier importing.

The 360 is the shmup system of this generation. I don't think the PS3 has even half a dozen of those games.

360 is most certainly the way to go right now. It would be fucking awesome if cave later decided to port previous releases for the xbox to the ps3 though.

Thought of this while driving round, there were rumors quite awhile back of Treasure working on a PS3 shooter. Possibly Gradius 6, I don't remember if they were ever anything more than rumors though.

I can't remember ever seeing rumors of anything of the sort. Treasure has been quoted as saying that they wouldn't be against making something for PS3, but that any of their developers on the 360 platform will likely continue to work on the 360 because of familiarity.
