Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

He's Mad Gear ('16-bit' on ebay). Unless you've talked to him when he's selling at conventions you probably wouldn't know who he is. He sells all import games and the occasional system and peripheral.
That's who I thought everybody was talking about. I've never met him personally, but Fastbilly talks about how awesome his store is quite a bit, and I've bought things through him on eBay before.

He is the guy in the blue shirt in the picture. He is a mutual friend of many of us on the forums who is down to earth, knows his craft, and he reads the site. Plus he usually has the best prices in the dealers room on everything I want.

Yeah, if he's at a convention I'm going to, I'll definitely be looking over his stuff. He'll probably have something I like.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for him at Animazement. All I bought this year was a new copy of JGR, Omega Boost and a Street Fighter Anniv. Pad for my PS2 which were pretty mudane and stupid purchases (I was looking for all three at the time and was too stupid to think of just getting all three here or on eBay), but I only had $65 bucks and was left with $10 for three days worth of food (Thank God for Mc Donald's!). Plus the only games I saw at this year's AZ were the overpriced stuff from Video Games New York.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

VGNY has some good deals, especially if you factor in shipping, and they sell arcade parts at cons. I was tempted by the boxed Saturn Twinsticks for $80 at AWA, but left with Guilty Gear Accent Core on the Wii for $15. They also had a copy of Dux, but I was not a fan when I played it.

Well when it's a shipped sale from their NY store you're right, same for the arcade parts, but the prices at AZ were a little high for most items and fair to good on others.

Yup, he's an awesome guy. Its been about 3 1/2 years since I was at my old job where I saw him at conventions all the time. But I had almost no play money back then.
