Its an awesome idea, but the controller feels pretty cheap.I thought I was going to break the controller playing it, but the video picture was decent it least.
Also does it allow you to use original controllers/av cables/etc... or output in S-Video?
I doubt it. Every clone I've seen/played/own with the exception of the Generation Nex uses D9 plugs for the controllers which I believe aren't Genesis compatible and have composite out only.

Correct, it only uses its own controllers. I also recall it being composite only. The only s-video clone I know of is the FC Dual and even then the video quality is very lacking.
interesting. pretty lame about the controllers. so i guess that means that the a and b buttons are switched for NES as well...bummer. wonder why they would make such a dumb mistake in production.
