Zaku (Atari Lynx)

Post by Ack »

Hey guys, I just got an email from the Super Fighter Team. Apparently their latest game just got released, Zaku for the Atari Lynx. Zaku is a hori shmup, featuring multiple worlds for 16 stages to play through, varying difficulties, and runs at a constant 60 FPS.

Here's some gameplay:

I don't own a Lynx, and I'm not really into shmups much, but I figured some of you guys might appreciate this.

They're actually selling it as a cartridge that's universal for the Lynx, so no matter what region you bought one in, it will still play the game. It also comes with an instruction manual and box.

Here's the ordering website:

I like the work these guys did on Legend of Wukong and Beggar Prince, so it will be interesting to see how this does.

Heh, its a Zonk clone for Lynx. Wacky enemies and even has the 'roast em with your jet feet' mechanic. :)
