The NEW REDESIGNED GameInformer

Post by Luke »

Looks like the same old shit.

They really hyped their new layout, it looks the same to me. Same garbage writers, same awful editor, but they did get rid of the game trivia section, which was the only section I would regularly read.

I almost feel like telling GameStop to just give me the discount card and forget the subscription.

They've also been slowly cutting out most of the retro-related features across the back pages...

Apparently this is only stage 1 of a bigger redesign, though, so maybe it will improve. Since I get it for free with the Edge card, i can't really complain too much.

The new Mickey Mouse/Warren Spector game looks cool, though.

Noticed the cut on the retro stuff too. They promised a lot of change, I just haven't seen it.

I kinda like GameInformer. It's nice to be guaranteed some toilet paper every month.

It doesn't flush properly. Trust me.

I miss EGM. :(

I enjoyed reading about the new Mickey game though. I wish I had a Wii so I could actually play it!

I am still skeptical about the Mickey game, but it looks good so far. The article said if you are familiar with the parks you would recognize a lot of environments from the game. I love the parks so that gets my hopes up
