What should I buy with $150...

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I also recommend getting an xbox. Put a larger hard drive and soft mod it. Put your games on the hard drive along with emulators, xbmc, and other stuff.

Out of curiousity does anybody still play original Xbox games on live if it's even still up?
Certain modes of Steel Battalion are still playable on live. http://www.steelbattalion.org/index.php used to have set dates when they used to play. Its been around 6 months since I've played online, but those SB nuts are very hardcore about that game, so I doubt they've called it quits yet.

I see Xbox's going for $30 or so on Craigslist these days so you'll have plenty left over. I actually picked one up for $15 and 5 atari games in trade a couple weeks ago. So yeah, buy an Xbox, buy a copy of splinter cell to soft mod it with, and spend the rest on Saturn games.

Any game crazy stores anywhere Kansas City Missouri? The store locator was not helpful. Was Hollywood video owned by the same company? The Hollywood video in my area closed with no fanfare that I saw. It is right by the grocery store so I would have see any crazy sale sign (if there was).

Games for the XBox or the Cube are your best bet, since they'll be cheap and possibly not be scratched up piles of crap.

you could probably get an xbox and at least 50% of the good games for it for $150.

Well, I ended up going for a mix of things, unfortunately, I decided against the Xbox. Heres what I got:

Nintendo DS Lite Silver
Moon
Ninja Gaiden DS

Nights into Dreams

New guitar strings
