Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I started playing WoW a while back but I noticed that I had the need to make each cent of the monthly fee be worth something. I didn't play that long maybe 2 months straight. Then I realized that something was not right. So I quit. I would love to be in the game playing but it's too much time and effort that really just screws with your personal life. Some people can handle it, I can't so I quit before it was too late.

I think video game addiction is quite different from MMO addiction and it should be considered as such. I'm basically a retro gamer and my family is fine with that since it's more of a hobby than an addiction. I spend more time reading, looking and finding things about old games than actually playing them. I try to limit my time to when my wife is working on her computer, visiting friends or while she's getting ready (This gives me about 1:30 at least :D ) So you have to find the balance. I do post quite a bit on forums at work but it's part of my job to be on the computer all day and making sure everything works right so it's not as bad as it seems.

So keep it balanced guys and do not neglect your families or stop doing social things just to play games.
Thanks everyone...
