So after hearing all this wonderful talk of GoG.com and making 2 purchases there (Megarace 1+2 and Duke Nukem), I went to go download and I noticed something truly wonderful.
The ability to download the ingame soundtrack from Megarace.
Now, this is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, and now, I can have it everywhere, its up there with Sonic 3 and NiGHTS when it comes to music in my opinion... so amazing.
Heres my 2 favorite tracks:
NewSan
Maeva

Re: Tears of joy...
I remember my parent's P-100 came with a copy of the first Megarace that I played once when home for a school break. They gave me that PC when they upgraded a few years later but the game seems to have gone awol. Never have been able to find it since.

Ugh... no. It is SO bad compared to the PC. It has different music as far as I know and is really choppy and slow. The 3DO versions okay, but no music at all. PC is the only way to go.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:Sounds pretty cool, I'll have to give the Sega CD version a shot.

I'll still check it out though via emulation or youtube though as the game looks pretty interesting.

Re: Tears of joy...
It's good fun, its more an on rails shooter than a racer. Unfortunately, I've had no luck finding the cd image for the SegaCD. The game is fairly obscure but has a pretty decent cult following. It's definately one of the hardest to find anywhere, even though it never costs all that much on any of the systems.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:Aww, that sucks.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Ugh... no.
