Don't know if this has been posted before or not (most likely has) but I figured I'd bump it up again.
That controller is reallllllly cool.

Re: NWC on eBay (again)
Come on! $6 shipping?! That just strikes me as hilarious
Re: NWC on eBay (again)
$12,000 for a piece of plastic, wow how pathetic. I could maybe see if there was a never released Mario game on it or something, but a person what have to be crazy to pay that much for a old plastic cart. Sad part is someone will probably buy it too.

And as you say, the sad fact is that someone will be all too eager to lay down that kind of money.

That's cool. I've never seen the cart/hat/controller together.
I think in these situations it's better to have free shipping AND start the bidding at 99 cents...that way you don't come off like a jerk who "knows" the cart will sell for over $12k and bidders are always more eager to spend more money this way.

I think people pay that premium for 2 reasons:Thierry Henry wrote:+1corn619 wrote:$12,000 for a piece of plastic, wow how pathetic. 1. There were only a few printed...check out how gaga people are going over the Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter Edition!
2. Nostalgia. Collectors that have money to spare were probably among the many people that entered the contest in 1990. It's like owning a piece of your childhood. Anyone that is on the "wrong side" of 30 can certainly understand.
