Devil Summoner's good. You actually have to strategize and balance your party instead of just hitting "Attack" repeatedly. I keep getting raped by Beldr though.tcpballa93 wrote:Justice for all was my least favorite, I still need Apollo Justice. SCRIBBLENAUTS!
Get those creative juices flowing in a non-vile way!
I wrote some thoughts on it here: http://www.1up.com/do/my1Up?did=42 In short, I think Scribblenauts is amazing.

GTA: China Town Wars, its and amazing little game.

No one mentioned Jump Ultimate Stars? That's seriously the only reason I have a DS anymore.
Well, that and NeoDS, the Neo Geo emulator. Nothing like Garou: Mark of the Wolves on the go.

You could always buy an M3 or an R4 card to try what you're interested in... they are cheap, to boot!
Seriously, the DS is just about the easiest console in the world (handheld or otherwise) for playing backups, homebrew, emulators, etc. I prefer the PSP's game library and it's function as a media player, emulator, etc. - but the Pandora trick or other CFW upgrades are a little more complicated (though not that tough). But if you can use a USB drive you can use a DS card.
Like I said, I'm not a big fan of the DS library - but what I have enjoyed are:
Ketsui Death Label (again - much cheaper to buy the M3 card to enjoy this one!)
Nanostray 1 and 2
Contra 4
Metal Slug 7
New Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart
Retro Game Challenge
of course I rarely play the DS, in part, because my wife is obsessed with the 2 DS Picross games - so you might give those a look too.
On a related note if anyone else can suggest some good shmups or run-n-guns for the DS (other than Bangai-O spirits, which I didn't care for), I'd love to hear them too!

Re: Just got a DS: What games should I get
I haven't played these yet, but I'm very keen on trying these games recommended by Classic Game Room:
Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ
Tokyo Beat Down
Anyone know if these are as good as Mark says?

The Professor Layton games have been my favorite on the DS so far.
