Has anyone actually seen a copy of this game? The game was supposed to ship out 3 days ago. NO ONE HAS SEEN IT. No retailers know where it is, and none of them can get in touch with anybody that has it.
I really wanted to get this game because I loved the original Way of the Samurai, but I was going to have to wait on account of priorities. However, if it is this hard to come across the game, even for retailers who were supposed to get shipments, I might just have to buy it as soon as I see it.
Where is Way of the Samurai 3?
Re: Where is Way of the Samurai 3?
I just searched on Amazon, and they've got the PS3 version and the Xbox 360 version, for $46.99.
And on EBGames, both the PS3 version and the Xbox 360 version, but they say that it will be available on the 20th of October, a week after the original release date of the 13th.
Nothing on BestBuy.

Yeah, I was planning on just getting it locally (employee discount and what not), but I just find it strange that I've seen it no where in town. I guess I'll have to wait 'til the 20th to see if we get anything.

Next week...sadly...
Re: Where is Way of the Samurai 3?
It kind of reminds me of when Samurai Shodown Anthology was released. I walked into my local Gamestop and asked for it. Upon checking the system, we discovered that the closest copy in a Gamestop was somewhere in Maryland.

I feel your pain. I had to go to two counties over to get KOF98 UM.
Re: Where is Way of the Samurai 3?
Yeah, a friend of mine had to get Samurai Showdown Anthology from Hawaii. Way of the Samurai 2 is actually a game I didn't even realize came to America, and finding a copy of that is a pain too.
These Samurai games are doing a better job of staying in the shadows than the Ninja games are.

Haha, that's true I suppose. I'm just happy to report that I managed to get copies of both Way of the Samurai games for the PS2 fairly easily.the7k wrote:These Samurai games are doing a better job of staying in the shadows than the Ninja games are.

anyone played this yet? I'm not quite sure if I want to shell out for it but I loved wos1. Also kinda figure the mainstream review scene wouldn't be the best source to find out how good this game is.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?
