Yeah, I noticed that too, I just didn't specifically point it out. I'm sure Zig recognized the name if it is one of his repros.

While they are certainly free to do whatever they want with them, its the short time before flipping and the way they're described that is bothersome to me. Neither of those auctioneers appear to be having a fire sale for needed cash, but we can hope that they decided they'd gotten all the fun out of them that they could and aren't just hoping to make a profit.

But anyway, its really not our business what they do with them. It's up the the person with the item if they want to hide it in a box, use it to level a wobbly table, throw it out of an airplane into a volcano, or gold plate it and sell it for a million dollars.

Well I'm not surprised, I've been checking eBay often just waiting to see one of my own. But it's after 3pm here, I'll talk about it tomorrow.

I say just stick a Repro indicator on the label before you print it to make it harder to forge them as the real deal because they'd have to go through the hassle of removing and reprinting the label and such.

You would think though that after taking the time to pick up a repro, you'd keep it.

Well Ziggy, if nothing else, I promise I will only sell my Live A Live copy if I desperately have to, but not under any other circumstances. It's sitting in my SNES right now, actually.

I think that is bullshit. When I get my StarFox, you can bet it will be for my collection.

Damm that sucks. I can understand people do it to make money and what not and its there property, but if someone is pretty much doing you a favour (and you do at the prices you sell repro's to RB members) its kind of a slap in the face.

Keep up the good work man, im sure most people you create them for totally love them, I know JFE2 is in utter love with Starfox 2 you made him.

Keep up the work man, your a legend.

I'll one-up Ack by promising I'll sell a kidney before I sell any of the repros I've commissioned off you.

Indeed, they should not be for resale, they are for private collections only for the avid gamer. If I liked StarFox (which I don't really, sorry!) I would ask to buy StarFox 2 for sure. Ziggy587 - you are very skilled, making these carts must have been "quite an adventure" to get right!

It is rather silly to ebay the item anyway, as if they are being sold as authentic, whereas they are in effect "unauthorised" and bootleg; Nintendo, if they found out someone was selling these on e-bay would I am sure have something to say about it!

If you want to stop such listings, it is quite easy, to the right of the listing when on screen, click on "report item" and mark it as a bootleg and breach of copyright - ebay will remove it from the listings. That might stop people reselling these carts for revenue.

I agree. It sucks to see these people selling the games on Ebay so quickly, but they do have the right to do so. What bothers me is how they went about it. Lying and acting like they were officially produced Nintendo cartridges is not cool. I think you should report them for it as well.

Flipping carts is incredibly scummy. I could understand if it was years from now after this topic is long done with, but in such a short period of time they should have had the common decency to pass the cart alone to someone else here for the same price they accrued it for. Did they think Zig giving a completely reasonable price was a manner of altruism so others could turn a profit?
