The gameplay is great.
I have played through the first two stages so far. There is a certain magic lost in 3D graphics over sprites. It still looks pretty good though and I really enjoy dashing around with the rocket pack. So far the level design is good. They place gems in places that will subtly teach you some tricks in the game, for example, there will be a zig-zag pattern of gems between two walls and you come to realize that if you ricochet yourself with the rocket pack, then you can bounce between the walls and snag every gem in one shot.
The game is perhaps a bit too easy from what I can tell so far, but I have only played the intro stages, so we'll see what happens later. So far I think it's pretty fun though.
