Just bought bought a PSP pandora battery, but...

Post by spinksy »

Right I just received through the post my PSP pandora battery. Its a fat PSP one (3.6V 1800mAh).

I plugged it in and the green power light came on but nothing. I realised that the battery was dead so plugged it in to charge and tryed turning it on again but again nothing. If I hold the power button up for a few seconds the green light goes out but nothing is displayed? I have also tryed removing the memory card but same again.

I tryed it with the normal battery aftrewards and it was fine so it can't be the PSP.

Do I have to wait till it's fully charged or am I missing something?

I think you have to wait until it has more of a charge. I had something similar happen with a normal battery that was completely dead. Try leaving it charging for an hour and then try again.

Yes, to flash you're psp the battery has to be charged to at least 70%.
You also need a magic memorystick to flash your psp. Google for magic memorystick for a tutorial to create one...

Good luck!

If you don't have the magic memory stick you are doing nothing. If your battery needs charge just plug the ac adapter, it will accept the process even if the battery has no charge as long as the ac is plugged.
