Hidden Gems vs Bottom of the Barrel

Post by marurun »

Racketboy, you've done lots of Hidden Gems. Maybe now it's time to do a Bottom of the Barrel series. Not simply the worst games for a console, no. Some of the more obscure, or bizarre failure. Because let's face it. With the proper level of humor, ridiculing the worst games is lots of fun :)

Maybe when I run out of things to write about :)
I still need to finish up my other series first

Until then, there's always Angry Video Game Nerd.

Well he's not perfect -- but can be pretty entertaining.
But like somebody mentioned in the comments on the Sega CD post, he conveniently only seemed to play the crappy games on the Sega CD and all but wrote the add-on off as a piece of junk.

I don't think his name is the Happy Video Game Nerd. He's hated a couple games I like. I still agree on his complaints though.

Tell ya what, Racketboy... Why don't you let me get together a crew and put together some Bottom of the Barrel (or perhaps Lost Turds) columns and if you like 'em you can post 'em. And you don't have to write them, only edit. The idea would be to keep them short and sweet, only looking at maybe 3 games per entry, with some modicum of effort (yeah right) to theme them or put them under the same umbrella, somehow.

What's ya think?

And hey, if Racketboy approves, anybody think this would be fun and maybe wanna help me nail down screenshots, help with ideas, or writing or anything? I don't have any video capture equipment so if I can't emulate it I can't image it.
